Position Overview:

Responsibilities include inspection, operation of inspection equipment, gauging, and compliance to all quality systems, QMS of product into the Baan business system and documentation of quality records. CMM and CNC experience is required. NO RELOCATION IS AVAILABLE!

 

Responsibilities: Manage quality issues as they relate to receiving inspection, production process control and final product quality audits. Plan, conduct, and direct the production quality assurance and quality engineering activities related to the improvement of their product quality process.Complies with all sections of the Quality Assurance Manual Supports the efforts of the Quality DirectorConduct analysis of factors impacting production scrap, product failures and consumer quality issues for determination of root cause and corrective actions.Facilitate the resolution of manufacturing and process related quality issues, including problem solving, corrective actions and design improvements. Provide product quality and problem solving training in support of quality improvement efforts.Plan, conduct, and direct the research, development and quality engineering assignments related to the support of continuous improvement projects.Assume a leadership role in the continuous improvement activities of Plant production processes to assure prevention of product failures and defects.

 

Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred but not requiredMinimum of 15 years experience within quality, preferably 10 years as a Quality Manager in a manufacturing or related industry.Computer literate.  Working knowledge of mechanical inspection, blue print reading, GD & T, basic quality systems, ISO 9000-2000 (or TS 16949), basic CMM experience, internal quality audits, gaging and excellent communication skills with customers/suppliers.
