Quality Manager - Packaging

My client, a leader in specialty packaging, is seeking an experienced professional with the ability to operate both strategically and in a hands-on role, to lead the Quality effort at its New Jersey packaging facility.  This position reports to the Plant Director.  If you are looking for both opportunity and personal growth this could be the position you have been seeking.  This is a full-time permanent role with a strong compensation package and excellent benefits.  Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.  The position is located in Southern New Jersey.  Responsibilities: Manage the plant Quality function. Assure that the product quality meets customer requirements. Promote teamwork and open communications in the plant. Lead systems and methods improvements and team-based problem solving. Requirements:  5 years experience in Manufacturing Quality Plastic and/or glass pack experience helpful Validation experience is a plus Six Sigma, auditing and ISO experience. Experienced in dealing with and solving customer issues. Able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and plant personnel. Good understanding of product quality specifications, documents and blueprints.Education/Certification:  Bachelors Degree (preferred).
