Control Systemation Inc. (CSI) a World-class leader in Laser based micro machining, System Integration, and Turn-key Automation equipment is currently seeking a Quotes Engineer to assist in the preparation of Custom System proposals. CSI provides proven solutions to multiple industries such as: Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Electronics, and Semiconductor.

 

Control Systemation is the premier supplier of industrial; laser micro-machining systems, laser system retrofits, and laser machines for the semiconductor industry. Our systems are computer controlled production/”machine tool” products that are sold into a wide variety of manufacturing applications.  Control Systemation offers a completely integrated, turnkey solution to our customers by providing the laser markers with any type of workstation, automation or part handling system that is necessary to meet the customer’s production requirements.  These systems can include: conveyors; x, y, z & rotary servo systems; bowl feeders; vision systems; and more.

 

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years engineering or machine design experience or a related technical degree. Further requirements include: excellent communication skills, technical aptitude, problem solving skills, and the flexibility to learn new disciplines. The ideal candidate should also have a working knowledge of machining, welding and other fabrication techniques. Additional considerations will be given for candidates from the laser micro-machining industry coming from either sales or engineering positions.

 

Responsibilities: The Quotes Engineer is responsible for review of system requirements, based on customer specifications, and establishment of system concepts with input from management.  Once a system concept is agreed upon, the Quotes Engineer establishes pricing for the system based on sound engineering judgment, and creates a technical description of the system and it’s features.

 

Requirements: Proficient use of personal computers: Windows, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Outlook, and Auto Cad.
