R&D Aministrative Assistant

 

 

Pall Life Sciences has an immediate opening for an R&D Administrative Assistant at their Pensacola, FL manufacturing facility. The R&D Administrative Assistant position is responsible for providing general administrative support for the Pensacola R&D & Product Engineering personnel. This includes administering the R&D safety participation program, notifying managers of pending performance evaluations, making travel arrangements, managing the notebook system, facilitating communications with R&D collaborators, processing and maintaining records, researching contracts, and confidentiality agreements. This individual will also manage supplies, kanban maintenance, award programs, employee badges and conference room/office area maintenance and upkeep. Requirements

· Experience providing support for a technical organization such as an R&D or engineering group

· Ability to read, comprehend, and generate various reports

· Ability to write management reports from detailed information

· Knowledge of basic mathematical concepts (usually obtained through a high school diploma)

· Experience using a multi-line telephone system and PA system

· Experience using various computer software systems (Excel, Word, Access, ADP)

· Experience working with both manual and electronic filing systems

· Ability to communicate clearly and courteously over the phone

· Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in verbal and written form with individuals both internal and external to the organization

· Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment in order to carry out various office duties

· Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks or projects & the ability to maintain proprietary information confidential
