RECRUITER

R. STAHL, Inc is acknowledged as the world’s foremost innovator in explosion protected components and systems.  It is due to extensive growth that we are looking for a part-time Recruiter.  This position will report to the VP, Human Resources with accountability for both tactical and strategic responsibilities. 

 

These responsibilities include working with managers to review personnel requisitions for completeness, assist managers with the creation or updating of job description and develop job postings for effective advertising.  Screen resumes, schedule and conduct interviews.  Review employment applications and evaluate work history, education and training, job skills, and compensation needs.  Conduct all applicant screening initiatives and prepare and extend offers.   Responsible for sourcing ideas including but not limited to newspaper ads, trade magazine ads, online job boards and other recruiting sources to ensure appropriate traffic levels per job posting.  Responsible for coordinating College recruiting efforts and job fairs.  Maintain candidate tracking tool and all necessary documentation.  Anticipation of future recruiting efforts will be key.

 

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 3 years recruiting experience, preferably in an Engineering environment.  Ability to work independently and possess above average MS Office Suite skills.  You must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and be well written and spoken.  The ability to manage 6 to 10 open positions at any time is required while proactively planning for future needs and succession planning.  This person should understand federal and state employment laws and regulations and be well organized.  A strong commitment to the performance of quality work, a disciplined work ethic and a positive attitude will complete our qualifications.
