Position:  REGIONAL SALES ENGINEER- North East

 

General:  The Regional Sales Engineer – North East (RSE-NE) will provide Sales/Technical Support to the Northeastern Region comprising the areas of New England, Pennsylvania, Eastern Canada, New York, New Jersey and Ohio.  The RSE- NE will be responsible for all Sales functions and also provide basic Technical/Applications support to customers and Manufacturers Reps in the territory.

 

Responsibilities:  Individual must develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers in order to generate sales and total customer satisfaction.  Key job functions to include:

 Management of all sales and technical support activities in territory Provide, and present advanced technologies to customers.  Recommend best product for customers application Understand customer’s material needs and document to appropriate parties. Determine customer’s future materials needs and communicate to company. Provide product support including applications and resolution of customer issues Maintain face to face and phone and email communication with customers Establish budgets, objectives and goals, and determine pricing per Heraeus policy Attend local professional trade shows Prepare reports regarding territory activity, customer feedback and input. Travel to Heraeus Philadelphia location quarterly for Training and consultation

 

Skills/Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must posses the following qualities:

 Sales skills and ability to work well with others Ability to manage others Professional appearance and behavior Outstanding  problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Ability to become technically competent with companies products and customer processes Be able to work with minimal supervision Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  Those with a minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training will be considered. English is required.  MS Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project or the equivalent. Expected to be 50-75% in local territory.  Must have valid drivers license.
