RPG Programmer with Object Oriented programming experience

Our client is a mid-size manufacturer with an international presence that is growing.Due to impending changes in the support they are going to get from the software vendor for their current ERP application they are seeking to hire a software development professional with RPG coding experience that, also, has been exposed to object oriented programming languages and web application development. The emphasis for this position is to find a web application developer that has also done RPG programming.  This position will be heavily involved in developing web based applications that integrate with legacy RPG based manufacturing (MRP/ERP) applications. Some examples of programming experience or training that would be attractive are Visual Basic (VB), Java, Access, VB.Net, C#, or any other object oriented languages. By joining this company you would become the go-to resource for helping them move away from their legacy ERP systems.  All project work would be new development and very little maintenance. Must have background:- Bachelors Degree- Must have  programming experience in a manufacturing environment supporting legacy ERP applications- Must have 1 yr or more experience with SQL and RDBMS databases- Must be willing to do overnight travel at plant locations, if needed.- Must havemodern client/server application development language experience; preferably web development- Must live within a commutable distance to Canton, OH OR be willing to relocate to the area.- Must not require any form of sponsorship to be an employee of our client.  This is a permanent position.  Along with an attractive base compensation, they offer all the standard benefits you would expect from a large corporation. Contact: Jim Shelton at 330-497-0122 (phone calls are welcomed) or email me at jim@mrnc.com   MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
