Receptionist/Clerical Assistant

Isolatek International, a well-established, internationally recognized manufacturer of passive fire protection materials for the construction industry, headquartered in Stanhope, New Jersey, has an immediate opening for a RECEPTIONIST/CLERICAL ASSISTANT.

As a Receptionist, the responsibilities include operating a switchboard to route incoming calls and place outgoing calls, as well as determining the purpose of the callers and forwarding the calls to the appropriate personnel or department. Answering questions about the organization and providing callers with address, directions, and other information are also part of the responsibilities. The individual will also have to monitor visitor access and issue passes when required. Other clerical duties include filing, photocopying and collating, greeting vendors, customers, job applicants, and visitors. This position will also assist with clerical work in the Accounting department.

The successful candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, and a pleasant telephone manner. Position requires two years of secretarial/clerical experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. Prior experience in an accounting/credit or customer service environment a definite plus.
