Receptionist

Jaipur Rugs Inc., a rapidly-growing rug company with distribution all over the US is looking for a receptionist to join its dynamic team based in midtown Atlanta. The ideal candidate will be friendly, polite, a strong self-starter, have a keen eye on excellence, accuracy, and detail, and possess strong people and conflict resolution skills both on the phone and in person. Responsibilities associated with this position include (but are not limited to):Answering and properly utilizing a multi-line phone system for calls and assisting customers or elevating calls to the appropriate partyMaking outgoing calls for various projectsFiling and mailing of important office documents according to established guidelines and practicesSorting and delivering incoming mail to appropriate partiesTaking notes/dictation and reproducing without errorsTyping business correspondence, both mail and email formatsMaintaining organization in the Front Office that provides universal access for allMaintaining and ordering of office supplies and tracking usageLight bookkeeping (Quickbooks)Multi-tasking several responsibilities with strong attention to detail and excellenceHaving a team player mentality, a positive attitude, and a desire to work within and grow with our existing cultureWorking with management on projects as assigned

 

Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and strong computer skills are paramountProficiency in the use of office machinery such as multi-line phone systems, document centers, printers, fax machines, postage machines, and the like is highly desirableExcellent command of the English language in written and verbal forms – you will be in constant contact with customersFollow-up and multi-tasking skills are crucialCompensation will be commensurate with experience and skills.
