GM Nameplate is seeking a Recruiter to join our team. This position will work closely with managers in meeting their staffing needs. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience as a Recruiter while contributing to an upbeat team-focused working environment.  The successful candidate will be a proactive leader, detail oriented, dependable, and confident individual.



 

Responsibilities will include finding sources of potential employees through both direct and indirect recruiting; creating and maintaining advertising and job postings; conducting phone and in-person interviews; hiring qualified applicants; and complying with all federal and state regulations. Other responsibilities will include coordinating and participating in job fairs, establishing recruiting partnerships with schools, colleges, employment agencies, community resources and federal and state agencies and supporting the corporate affirmative action program and goals as well as performing other duties as assigned. Starting salary is $16.75-18.00/hr or DOE.

 

Desired Qualifications:1-2 years previous recruiting experience is preferred.Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.Familiarity with employment policies and practices is preferred.Strong computer skills, especially in MS Word and Excel. Outstanding interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Proven organizational techniques and the ability to plan and organize effectively and efficiently.Ability to produce accurate and thorough work.Adaptability to changes in the work environment, multiple tasks or projects, competing demands on time, frequent delays or unexpected events.Strong project management skills.Ability to maintain confidential information.Ability to communicate with managers and staff at all levels of the organization.
