Recruiting Assistant (5 month Contract)

SunOpta’s Fruit Group is a leading manufacturer, importer and exporter of natural and certified organic fruit and vegetable products. We specialize in branded and Private Label packaged products for grocery, natural food and club store outlets.

Our products include industrial organic and natural juices, juice concentrates, blends, purees, IQF and frozen fruit and vegetable products. We also offer shelf stable and refrigerated juices, juice and tea-based beverages, energy drinks and Italian-style sparkling sodas. 

 

 

 

 

Job Title: Recruiting Assistant

Reports To: Recruiting Manager 

FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt

Department: Human Resources

Division:  Berry Ops

Location:    Salinas, CA

 

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.Provide administrative support to Human Resources team Review applications for completeness Follow up on pending applicant information Data entry; updating various tracking reports Generate and send correspondence to applicants Scanning, faxing, and photocopying applicant files Open and distribute department mail Front desk receptionist coverage Assist with other projects as assigned

 

Minimum Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of office/clerical and/or administrative experience Excellent organization, attention to detail and follow up skills. Ability to multi-task efficiently Ability to maintain confidentiality above all and give the best customer service. Working knowledge of general office machines, i.e. multi-line telephone, copier, and facsimile.  Computer literate; windows experience necessary including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Power Point.
