Regional Business Manager

Regional Business Manager – West

 

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Dealer Sales, this is a great opportunity for an aggressive sales professional to join a company where unbridled enthusiasm for achieving results is rewarded.

Adaptive provides best in the industry sales training and support tools, in addition to marketing programs designed to help our dealers build a successful business around our product line and their loyalty to us.  Candidate will reside in the territory, with access to major airport.

Responsibilities:

· Build and develop a dealer network in the West U.S. (Los Angeles or Las Vegas area) to promote, sell and support Adaptive’s broad line of indoor and outdoor electronic display systems

· Develop market expansion plans, cold call and qualify prospects and make onsite sales presentations

· Develop business plans with new dealers and train and develop dealer staff in the most effective methods of selling and supporting Adaptive’s products

 

Education / Experience / Training Required:

Ÿ Undergraduate degree.

Ÿ Training in Strategic Selling model as taught by Miller-Heiman

Ÿ Specific training in advertising or marketing, particularly on-premise advertising

· Specific training in coaching/training skills/methodologies

· A high level of energy and motivation

· 3 – 5 years of sales experience

· Excellent communication, organization and follow-through skills

Qualifications Required:(Business/Technical Skills)

Ÿ Successful history of selling technical products to a non-technical audience.

Ÿ Ability to speak on a business level with the owners of small businesses and C level officers of medium size businesses in order to define their needs and communicate the Adaptive value proposition.

Ÿ Ability to understand solution selling, specifically the sale of outdoor EMCs as an advertising platform rather than a sign.

Ÿ Ability to understand the factors involved in selecting the appropriate EMC and connectivity based on viewing distance, speed, offset, and the end user's concept for marketing to their target market.

Ÿ Ability to coach and teach dealer sales staff, estimators, and others in selling EMCs as advertising and selecting the proper EMC/connectivity for an application.

Ÿ Ability to effectively perform account management for 25 - 60 key accounts over a geography of several States and Canadian provinces.

Ÿ Ability to plan effectively for the use of their own time, to include the logistics of travel, required meetings, dealer support, and adding to the dealer base in target markets.

Ÿ Familiarity with and reasonable skill in the use of a wide range of PC applications to include Outlook, Word, X Cel in addition to Adaptive's proprietary software programs.

Ÿ Preferred:  Specific familiarity with Visual CRM

· Can work constructively in a team environment in addition to pursuing individual sales goals
