Regional Finished Item Planner - Digital Cameras Provide honest and timely feedback on work processes to management so issues and problems can be addressed quickly. Participate on process improvement teams as required. Is the product expert on assigned products, knowing inventory positions, shipping schedules, allocation plans, etc across the Americas Region (LAR, Canada, US) Product Delivery Activities: Creates purchase requisitions for camera/printer shipments into the U.S to support the Americas Region. Make decisions on shipping directly into Kodak/Flex Distribution Center (1050) or through 3rd Party Consignment (1672). Creates weekly allocation plan in GATP to support Retailer requirements and releases orders accordingly. Must be familiar with all customer logistics and supply chain requirements. Reviews and communicates commitments around Retail forecasts/ladders. Manages the communication of shipping information to all CSR's and Account Reps. Provides forecasts, as needed, to Freight Forwarders for uplift capacity planning. Regional Planning Activities: Works closely with Worldwide Flow Balance Managers to understand weekly production schedules for all Digital Cameras, Printer Docks, and Camera Bundles. Work closely with Regional Demand Manager to execute weekly allocation plan. Participates in weekly operations meetings with Flow Balance Managers, inbound Transportation and Logistics, to understand the affect of weekly schedules and deliveries on customer orders and allocation decisions. Provides direction to Packout planner/3rd party Finished goods assembly site for weekly manufacturing requirements to fulfill customer orders for digital camera/printer dock/camera bundles. Provide direction regarding deployment of product from the Consignment HUB to our Kodak/Flextronics distribution facilities. Provide short term (14wk) and longer term forecasts to Pack Center for scheduling capacity and procuring components. Responsible for communicating weekly allocation/ship schedules to Key Customer Account teams consistent with Customer Ladders. Tracks monthly sales progress for US&C on a daily basis and runs reports to verify billings, back order status, deliveries and shipments. Participates in Regional Commercialization process to ensure product availability. Responsible for master data set up for all new items. Responsible for Master data maintenance (New Item Set-up, EOL, Discontinuances, etc.) for all Digital Cameras, Printers and Bundles Monitors inventory levels in all locations/buckets to ensure optimal product movement. Required Skills/Experience: Strong experience with Excel. Minimum of 4 years planning experience. Electronic Consumer Product exp a plus. Familiar with customer logistics and supply chain requirements. Experience with SAP a plus.
