Background
Dimexon Eurostar (www.DimexonEurostar.com) is a leading international group in the diamond and jewellery business operating in the high-end segment of the market, servicing brands and top international retailers. The group has a wide network of its own factories and offices worldwide operating in more than 11 countries and employing over 15,000 people.
The group seeks a Head of Jewellery Sales for the USA and Middle East, who will become an important member of the senior management team, with the opportunity of further advancement. The successful applicant will be responsible for the daily sales in the specified regions, growing the company’s sales and servicing capabilities, and building a world class team to deliver its value proposition. The successful candidate will most likely have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. The position will be based in New York.
Required experience and personality
We are looking for a sales professional with at least 10-15 years of experience in B2B sales. The candidate should have at least 5-10 years of experience managing a sales team and must be able to demonstrate experience of managing remote sales people, preferably in different countries and from different cultures. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of high-end jewellery sales experience with retailers and distributors, ideally with a leading firm in the industry, but will also have gained significant experience outside the jewellery industry. Experience selling to major retailers, working with luxury/fashion brands and negotiating “private label” and/or licensing agreements will be a significant advantage. The candidate should have experience working outside the USA and in a multicultural environment. A good command of verbal and written English is essential.

The Position
As Head of Sales USA and Middle East, you will own the day-to-day management of the sales for the region. This includes:
· Formulation of the sales plan for the regions, including strategic assessment of major accounts to target.
· Responsible and accountable for gross and net sales.
· Key customer visits and direct selling i.e. not just managing a team.
· Customer account management.
· Identifying the appropriate markets in targeted countries that have potential and coordinating efforts to increase market share.
· Identification and development of distribution channels and alliances.
· Development of the value proposition, combining product with services such as design, fulfillment, marketing support etc.
· Work with the product management/merchandising team to understand the product/design needs of the customers and feed those back into the design team.
· Responsible for recruiting, developing, motivating, and retaining a world class, customer-focused sales team.
· Frequent travel will be required to visit the local sales teams and customers.
· You will report to the President - International.
