Regional Manager

Topp Portable Air, the nation’s leading supplier of specialized portable temperature control equipment has created a new position based out of our Headquarters in Aston, PA for a Regional Manager overseeing offices in Philadelphia, PA, South Plainfield, NJ and Jessup, MD. 

We operate fifteen regional offices nationwide.  We rent, sell and service portable air conditioners, dehumidifiers and temporary heaters to construction, commercial, industrial, governmental and event entertainment sectors.  Our customers expect a high sense of urgency and this has been one of the features that make Topp Portable Air stand out from its competitors.  We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the best service and equipment available in the industry.

Job Description:

The Regional Manager will be responsible for managing, developing, guiding, training and providing day to day support of all sales, service and operations personnel at each of these offices.

Responsibilities:

·  Provide day to day leadership, coaching and development

·  Assist each Sales Engineer to achieve their revenue goals, strategize and execute methods to increase market share and expand existing business

·  Travel regularly with each Sales Engineer in his/her assigned territory

·  Uses successful selling practices and techniques to effectively cross train Sales Engineers on how to effectively prospect and develop new accounts

·  Maintain deep market awareness; remain current with market trends

·  Responsible for all staffing requirements and personnel decisions in accordance with company guidelines

Requirements

·  5 years or more of sales management experience within HVAC, construction, industrial tools or equipment rental industry is preferred

·  Previous branch/regional management experience is a plus

·  Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing or engineering or equivalent is required

·  Demonstrated success in leading and managing a remote sales team

·  Excellent oral and written communication skills

·  Ability and willingness to travel

·  Strong technical and mechanical background with the ability to learn engineering concepts

·  Excellent computer skills especially in MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
