Leading supplier of motion controllers and linear actuators for both servo electric and pneumatic positioning is looking for a regional sales manager based out of Minneapolis to cover the North Eastern USA. The responsibilites of the position include but are not limited to the following:1. direct selling of the above products to oems and end users2. channel selling of the above products thru distributors and rep firms3. attend product shows locally and nationally4. create business plans5. provide pre-/post-sales support and training to channel partners6. Manage direct reports7. Manage 4 direct sales reports8. Manage several rep firms and distributorsThe ideal candidate will have the following background:1. four year degree: BSEE, BSME, BSET, BSCE2. at least 5 yrs selling experience in the above marketing area w/ drivesand motion products3. sales management experience of direct reports selling the above products4. comes from a direct competitor 5. willing to travel 40% of the timePosition pays a competitive salary plus commissions.
