Regional Sales Representative

Reporting to the National Sales Manager of a premier global manufacturer of thermoplastic resins and alloys.  Highly visible position vital to the growth and success of business opportunities.  Various markets served are Agricultural, Appliance, Automotive, Cosmetic, Electronics, Horticulture, Marine, Packaging, Sporting Goods, Building and Construction, Housewares and Toys.  Will be responsible for interacting with existing customers, OEM’s as well as the signing of profitable new business in all facets of the plastic resin manufacturing industry. Coordinates complete sales cycle process including suspect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing, proposal preparation and presentation(s), contract signing, start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale. Challenge is to expand account base, increase revenues and improve profitability.

Background Required:
• ABS, ASA, Alloys and custom compounded engineered resins (5 years)
• Technical sales (5 years)
• Injection Molding (5 years)
• Demonstrated ability to close deals
• Ability to work independently and as a team member to achieve common goals
• Travel 40 –50% (overnight - domestic)
• Location:  New England Territory
• Education:  BA/BS in Engineering, Marketing, Business or related field

Background Preferred (but not required):
• Blow Molding and Extrusion
• Computer literate:  Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
• Excellent written and oral skills
