Regional Service Technician

We are searching for the best and brightest in the industry to fill a role as a Regional Service Technician in Philadelphia, PA.  In this role you will be responsible for installation and setup of Pearson Packaging Electrical/ Pneumatic/ PLC/Servo systems, provide training to operators and maintenance personnel, complete on-site evaluations, install machine enhancements, and appropriately test and calibrate parts to meet tolerances and product specifications. When not in-plant, you will be required to complete pro-active calling of customers to complete customer satisfaction surveys as well as establish billable pro-active service calls.  This position will require up to 80% travel within a dedication region.

 

Requirements:

 

¨  Two-year Technical Trade or equivalent experience, a minimum of 5 years experience installing, training and repairing electrical/pneumatic/PLC industrial machines.

¨  Minimum of 2 years Field Sales and/or troubleshooting experience

¨ Capable of reading and interpreting PLC logic as it pertains to the system functionality.  Capable of modifying the PLC logic to resolve issues as required.

¨  Must posses a strong working knowledge of computers and applications such as Outlook, Internet Explorer, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to effectively utilize CRM tools.

¨  Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make technical presentation.

¨  Self motivated, energetic individual willing to travel in the dedicated region up to 80% of the time, and can effectively manage working from home when not in a customer location.
