Resident Expeditor

Job Title:  Resident Expeditor

Locations:  Olean and Painted Post, New York.  *Some additional travel to Wellsville, NY and Burlington, NY.

Duration:  20 months

 

·  Scope

Company has plans for more than a dozen different machines to be delivered by Manufacturer over the next 19 months.  Expeditor will expedite delivery of all machines, providing Weekly Expediting Reports (with pictures) detailing their activities and the status of all Company machines.  Follow-up instructions/directions will be based on status and project need.

 

Because the machines are for various Company Projects and facilities, the machines will have different inspectors, procurement, engineering, and project personnel also involved.  Critical required skills for this expeditor are organization and clarity.

 

·  Professional Expeditor

1.  Resident - full time assignment, 40 hrs/week but flexibility required; could vary with urgency of equipment and shop activity

2.  Resident in the NY area – near Olean and Painted Post

3.  70% of time at Manufacturer in Olean shop, 30% at Manufacturer in Painted Post shop [a few trips to Wellsville (Frame 503) and Burlington (Frame RD4) for Steam Turbines will also be required]

4.  ~ Mobilization May/08  ~ Demobilization September/09 (19 Months)
