Retail-Link Data Sales Analyst II - Wal-Mart

Ice Cream Sales Analyst position will provide data insights leveraging retail-link and syndicated data resources that leads to informed business decisions.  More specifically, this position will support National Accounts with sales analysis, field sales management, item file set up & maintenance, presentation development, and product withdrawal from Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club accounts. Provide analytical support to our– Director of Sales, Wal-Mart Responsible for providing weekly category reports, trend analysis, customized customer reports and special project work for the DOS in our respective categories. Work and communicate with Dean Foods ice cream businesses on key Wal-Mart initiatives, including new store openings, promotional programs, new item introduction, and others. Work with Wal-Mart buyer assistant to create business-building opportunities. Analyzes Retail-Link data to spot and understand business trends and develop potential solutions for the ice cream business.  Must be able to use Excel and other database tools to accomplish the analysis.Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED 2+ years Data Analysis/Reporting experience to include: data collection, trend analysis, pricing analysis, inventory planning, data analysis, data interpretation and data presentation experience REQUIRED 2+ years MS Access and Retail-Link software experience REQUIRED.  Incumbent must be able to manipulate data at an advanced level.  Position will also require the use of MS Excel and other spreadsheet/database tools 2+ years CPG/Retail sales industry experience Prior experience supporting sales to Wal-Mart, Sam's Club (strongly preferred) Food industry (strongly preferred) Willingness and ability to travel (10-20%) We are looking for a career minded, self-motivated professional interested in growing with a dynamic organization.  Job Title: Retail-Link Data Sales Analyst II - Wal-Mart Location: BENTONVILLE, AR 72712 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business Development Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
