SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER

Symons of Dayton Superior Corporation, a leading manufacturer/distributor of concrete forming equipment and accessories for the concrete construction industry, seeks a motivated self-starting sales professional to represent us in the Los Angeles, CA. area selling to general contractors.  Requires a background in the construction industry (preferably forming) with a minimum of two (2) years outside sales experience.

Job Description

 Experience/Education Required:

·  High School required.  College preferred in a technical/Engineering field or equivalent experience

·  Blueprint reading, computer skills, sales experience, organizational skills and construction background.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

These essential duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

·  Sell and rent concrete forms to general and concrete contractors and subs in Los Angeles.

·  Prepare proposals, do take-offs, handle credit and collections of accounts.

·  Service Job-sites and develop long term relationships with key players in the market.

Responsible for sales activities in both new and existing markets, coordinating sales and engineering projects, servicing job-sites, and developing long term relationships with key players in the market. 

 

Will prepare proposals, do take-offs, and handle credit and collections of accounts.  Must be computer literate, possess excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must have the  ability to read blueprints.

 

A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.  A civil engineering degree a plus.
