SALES - Product Manager – Josef Kihlberg (JK)

Job Scope
The primary role of this position is the sales of our Josef Kihlberg product line. This individual will also have primary line responsibility for the JK container program and Canadian Customers.
Reports to:
National Sales & Marketing Manager
Direct Reports:
None. This person will provide oversight and guidance to other Industrial Fastening sales team members for JK product information, sales plans and customer issues.
Budget Responsibility:
Responsible for product line sales targets, expenses. Assist in the creation and management of budgets (expense, co-op and promotions) to annual plan.
Core Functions:
1.) Sales of Joseph Kihlberg products.
2.) Ability to conduct market analysis by obtaining intelligence through multiple sources.
3.) Development and implementation of product strategies.
4.) Ability to translate corporate objectives into product sales plans.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Employ advanced selling skills and market knowledge in Josef Kihlberg products.
· Prepare sales and services contracts.
· Responsible for specific product line direction and sales strategies.
· Main contact for the product line with manufacturing and distribution both local and international.
· Establishes and maintains top level contacts with the management and existing potential customers, dealers and distributors.
· Provides feedback and recommendations to other functions such as Marketing Distribution and Engineering.
Optimum Characteristics and Methodologies:
· Knowledge and interest in the technical aspects of fastening technology.
· Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
· Communication style that establishes trust and builds partnerships.
· Ability to negotiate terms of sale in complex or multi-faceted transactions.
· Demonstrated ability to successfully manage company resources and assets.
Qualifications:
· 5-7 years sales experience, preferably in end-user sales.
· B.S. degree
· Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
· Ability to sustain a moderate travel schedule.
