SAP Product Manager, Manufacturing

Today, more than 46,100 customers in more than 120 countries run SAP applications – from distinct solutions addressing the needs of small businesses and midsize companies to suite offerings for global organizations.JOB TITLE SAP Product Manager, ManufacturingPURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES The mission of the SAP xApp Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (xMII) solution management team is to define and to take to market the SAP manufacturing solutions and products, focused on the xMII product in the overall SAP manufacturing and supply chain strategy. As a member of the xMII ASM team, you will participate in the definition of the business plan for SAP xMII go to market strategy working with global sales and industry business units. This includes working with these other organizations for: * Product feature roll in * New products which can be developed and sold as content on top of the manufacturing platform to fill white space in the solution map * Education roll out to the field organizations * Working with strategic customers to help insure product implementation success and reference-ability * Building of demos and prototypes for interacting with customers and field organizationsEXPECTATIONS AND TASKS * Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders (i.e., sales and consulting, partners, industry communities, etc.) to ensure a comprehensive, coordinated, global roll-out (including influencing & supporting regional events), and go-to-market strategy. * Influence SAP xMII and SAP manufacturing direction by channeling feedback & market requirements gathered from the ecosystem into the product definition process. * Leverage strong product and market knowledge in order to champion SAP xMII adoption and evangelize the manufacturing strategy and products with internal and external constituents. * Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with SAP xMII by acting as a liaison between SAP and high profile customers. WORK EXPERIENCE * Ability to listen and understand customer needs and manage customer expectations * Experience with supporting customers, consulting, and/or sales organizations * Experience in the manufacturing industry (in any role) * Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and Enterprise SOA a plus * knowledge of SAP PP Module a plus * Experience with thinking 'out of the box'TRAVEL up to 30% domestic and international travelEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related degree 2+ years of professional experience Customer interface experience required with Demo's and Requirments Definition Knowledge of manufacturing industry required Knowledge of SAP software preferred   Title: SAP Product Manager, ManufacturingCompany: SAPLocation: Exton, PA 19341Status: Full Time, EmployeeJob Category: Marketing/Product
