RESPONSIBILITIES

In your position, you will participate, be open and accept ideas/concepts from R&D.  R&D will rely upon you for your judgments in machine design and testing for manufacturability.  You will lead a team of specialists (mechanical, chemical and electro-mechanical engineers) to collaborate on machine design, build-process, and testing to ensure product enters manufacturing without too much difficulty.  66% of the machines are designed and built in-house; many, many now run in a high-volume and great performing manufacturing facility in Mexico.  You will translate prototyping process in R&D and then duplicate process in the Mexico manufacturing plant..  You will resolve all issues with team pertaining to manufacturing performance.

 REQUIREMENTSBS Mechanical Engineering degree from a reputable US university known to specialize in the Engineering FieldAt least 10 years in Machine Design for Medical Device, Optics or Pharmaceutical productsAt least 10 years in providing solutions to manufacturing problemsMachine design and process-build expertiseExceptional leadership skillsExcellent communication skills (Spanish could give you great advantage)Successes, track record and factual data in past experiences - to bring to interviewSolid referencesAbility to travel extensively to Mexico plant located in a small resort town.  Travel once a month, sometimes two.  Leave Monday, back Friday, always home on the week-ends.  Access to company driver 24/7 to work, airport and hotel.

 

Attractive Compensation Package!

Starting Salary Range: $80,000 TO $100,000 depending on experience
