 MANUFACTURING SHIFT SUPERVISOR-IOWA 

 



Letica Corporation, a leading manufacturer of plastic and paper packaging products, is seeking a highly motivated SHIFT SUPERVISOR to join our Muscatine, Iowa team to work on third shift.  Manufacturing / Shift Supervisors are held responsible for the safe and efficient operation of their department / shift. Knowledge of quality management and safety practices, and experience in plastic injection molding is  preferred but other industries will be considered.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Directing and supervising the activities of 15+ hourly associates Scheduling work assignments Initiating improvement efforts The continued operation of equipment with minimal downtime The manufacture of quality products at minimal costs. 

 

Requirements:

 

· Minimum of 2-5 years supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

· Possess average or better computer knowledge

· Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent problem solving skills

· Good communication skills

· Have proven leadership and team building skills
