SHIPPING WORKER

3:30-11:50pm Shift

 

The primary purpose of this position is to provide a continuous and timely flow of material from the warehouse to shipping, and to ensure that the material is moved both accurately and expeditiously.

 

The scope of this position includes the accurate and timely preparation of customer orders, the movement of shipping materials from the warehouse to shipping via radio frequency(RF), loading of completed sales orders onto common and contract carriers, pulling and marking export and affiliate orders for delivery to consolidators, labeling, marking, stretch wrapping and banding pallets for transportation 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Essential:

 

· Worker must be trained in the use of a forklift; high school diploma or equivalent is needed; worker must be able to push/pull 500lb drums and lift 100lb bags. 

 

Preferred:

 

· RF experience; hazardous materials knowledge; 3-5 years shipping and material handling experience; SAP knowledge.
