SR. DISTRIBUTION ANALYST

RIVIANA FOODS INC., the volume leader in the $1 billion U.S. retail rice category and largest supplier of branded and private label rice products in the U.S. is currently accepting applications for a SR. DISTRIBUTION ANALYST.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform analyses on transportation, warehousing, inventory and customer service issues.Create and monitor departmental budget in excess of $50MM annually.Review and develop new systems to ensure the integrity and consistency of monthly functional expense reports, earnings statements and other reports for all areas of distribution.Work on special projects involving warehouse and freight transportation programs.Train field personnel in computer applications e.g. SAP and Stratum and provide assistance when  needed.

REQUIREMENTS:BS Accounting or business related area5+ years distribution analytical experienceProficient in using a fully integrated ERP system (SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards)Strong analytical, reasoning and problem solving skillsStrong communication skills both written and verbal
