STATISTICAL PROCESSOR

SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, coordinates and analyzes domestic price proposals for management review in a multiple state region of responsibility.  Regionally cross-trained to backup other Processors requiring a high level of teamwork and collaboration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Manages system implementation upon authorization of price actions.
• Researches and calculates Gallo and competitive price information for accuracy and logic. 
• Manages implementation of authorized Gallo and reported competitive pricing actions within assigned markets in the Gallo Pricing System and the JDE order/invoicing system. 
• Coordinates with Regional/Divisional field representatives, Finance Personnel, Customer Service, etc. to provide price proposal worksheets, resolve pricing related order/invoice issues and complete other pricing activity reports.
• Effectively organizes and prioritizes pricing activity in assigned areas. 
• Maintains integrity of each market’s formulas, rules, procedure, posting deadlines and logic.  Reviews the progress and accuracy of price quotations/postings prepared by Control Posting Processor for assigned area.
• Participates in implementation of ongoing systems evolution for pricing activity.
• Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills are required, including an understanding of mathematical relationships.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or GED required, plus 0-2 years experience.  Some college desirable with emphasis in business administration, accounting, math, and/or computer science.
• Previous pricing and related winery experience preferred.

SKILLS
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Computer skill requirements include: intermediate MS Excel, MS Access and MS Word.  JD Edwards experience desirable.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to develop a thorough working knowledge of the complexities of the Gallo Pricing System and how the modules interface with each other.
• Must be a team oriented self starter with great attention to detail who will be relied on to recognize and correct discrepancies under varied deadline constraints.
• Must use discretion in dealing with confidential information.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, while remaining courteous and professional.
