STRUCTURES PACKAGE MECHANIC

We currently have openings for Structures Package Mechanic at our San Diego facility.

 

Responsibilities:

Lay out, fabricate, mock-up modify, assemble, align, and combine various components to complete production, prototype and or first article turbine engine packages using blueprints, sketches, photographs, schematics, diagrams, templates and other written and or oral instructions.  Perform assembly and mechanical operations using precision measuring instruments, conduit, tubing and piping, as required. 

Plan, lay out, develop, fabricate parts, and build electrical/electronic-wiring aids.  Perform complete operations to fabricate, assemble and install production and/or first article units, such as control consoles, junction boxes, instrument panels, relay panels, battery racks, engine and interconnect harnesses. 

 

Job Requirements:  The successful candidate must possess above average computer skills, the ability to read schematics and blueprints, good organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, positive people skills, and the ability to focus on minute details.  Candidate should have demonstrated initiative and be self-motivated within a small, dynamic team.
