We have recently created a new position for a Supply Chain Planner located in our Bloomingdale, Illinois Office.  This exciting position will play a key role in driving our new corporate strategy throughout the Americas by ensuring proper inventory and product availability.



Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Planner will include:

 

·         Planning and updating  forecasts within internal SAP system

·         Maintaining SAP Material Master

·         Managing the Futurecast Forecast tool to ensure monthly accuracy

·         Achieving and maintaining stock levels and agreed-to customer service levels

·         Developing and maintaining a network of contacts, both inside and outside the facility, including taking the initiative in understanding the needs of others (internally and externally), in order to demand changes, resolve issues and expedite product as required.

·         Liaising with project and product managers to establish forecast plans and introduce or phase out products

·         Reviewing KPI reports and order products

·         Documenting received components and finished goods and accurately verify products for correct quantity, quality and model

·         Inputting weekly, monthly and special P.O.’s

·         Chairing weekly meetings/conference calls with supply base

·         Reviewing and changing master data for products when sourcing classification change

·         Completing, maintaining, and processing pertinent paper work

·         Promoting and fostering team work and positive working relationships

 

 The successful candidate will possess:

 

·         Two years of related work experience

·         Working knowledge of SAP Materials Management Module preferred

·         Advanced Excel knowledge

·         Post secondary education in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related discipline

·         Excellent time management skills

·         Excellent interpersonal skills
