Job Description Sales/Application Engineer Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Sales/Application Engineer for our Coon Rapids office to: conduct technical engineering analysis of products to develop new applications that meet customer needs; confer with customers & sales personnel to assess products & determine system requirements; respond to customer technical engineering concerns, diagnose problems with installed equipment, & approve all technical warranty issues related to product line; provide technical engineering support to R&D engineers & sales personnel; prepare training materials for customers & sales personnel; & provide engineering assistance to personnel who order parts & provide price & system quotations.Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering, with a specialization in Computer Systems, or Computer Systems Engineering, or an equivalent foreign degree as determined by a written evaluation. The position also requires five (5) years progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as an Electronics Engineer or Computer Systems Engineer, responsible for installations, and electronic, electrical and mechanical maintenance. Education: BachelorsJob Level: Experienced
