Description: Sales Account Professional

JOB SCOPE:

 

Generate new business and increase revenues at the region and national level through sales of manufactured metal products and services by following designed sales objectives, policies, and programs to achieve maximum sales at the highest possible return. Conduct internal and external presentations to familiarize peers and customers with products, services, features, benefits, and applications.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Develops profitable new business account relationships and increased profitability from existing accounts. Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services.  Makes sales presentations to existing and prospective clients.Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales. 

·  Manages the on-going account relationship with new and existing customers. 

·  Establishes and maintains good public relationships with the community to enhance the organization's image and develop new business.

·  Represent company at special functions such as Trade Shows, Hospitality Functions, and Technical Conferences.

·  Relate field-customer problems to management to ensure speedy resolution.

·  Monitor and report on competitor activity.

·  Provide a unit sales forecast when requested.

 

Qualifications

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

5-10 years sales experience or equivalent.

·  Strong knowledge of manufactured metal products and services.

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Excellent marketing and business development / sales skills

·  Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.

·  Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance.

·  Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

·  Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects and deadlines simultaneously.

·  Good computer skills, ERP, MS Office.

·  Willingness to travel.

·  Salary plus commission based on ability and experience.
