Sales Development Manager

BSH Home Appliances Corporation, the World’s Third Largest Manufacturer of home appliances, with leading edge high end quality appliances with brands like, Bosch, Gaggenau, Siemens & Thermador is seeking a Sales Development  Manager to work in our Corporate office located in Huntington Beach, CA .

 

Purpose of Position:

 

Manage key strategic projects to improve internal sales administration which will allow each sales team to better focus on market share growth. Drive internal communication to sales organization product launch, pricing, promotion, policy changes.

Responsibilities:Manage key strategic and/or special projects: Germany - SFM Optimization, Forecasting process - Sales/Demand Planning. Manage ad-hoc reporting/analysis. Conduct RFP for new promotional fulfillment house. Provide support to the outside sales division, which will include daily/weekly/monthly sales reports, display tracking, and ad-hoc analysis/presentations. Monitor standardized reporting, track sales, and distribution analysis by sales channels. Assist in various sales, distribution and product analysis programs. Involved in active expense monitoring/control and budgeting assistance. (Promotional) Manage communication process to field on all product launches/pricing/promotion/policy changes. Define and manage communication process for external communication to customer with Trade tools/Extranet/e-marketing newsletters. Define and track promotional approval requests for national and regional programs. Manage promotional support activities with rebate fulfillment company/report tracking required to monitor program success.

Experience:2-4 years sales and/or sales support experience in a structured work environment. Experience with SAP desired but not essential.

Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Business/Economics/Communication. Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visual Basic applications necessary,along with database management.SAP/Business warehouse a plus.Strong communication and listening skills. Effective presentation skills with varying audiences. Strong business, financial acumen, and analytical skills. Strong negotiation and people skills. Ability to learn SAP/ BW, PDC and SFM software. Ability to work independently.
