Sales Director/ North America/ Asphalt Mobile & Concrete

JOB SUMMARY:  Establishes and directs the strategic long term goals, policies and procedures for the Asphalt Mobile and Concrete Equipment sales requirements of the organization. Actively and aggressively establishes and manages distributor network, promote, market and sells Terex Roadbuilding products. Maintain/increase market share at acceptable levels. In accordance with the goals, policies, and procedures of Terex Roadbuilding, the Sales Director/Asphalt Mobile and Concrete is responsible and accountable for the following essential functions, and other duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position. Establish and maintain distribution network of asphalt mobile and concrete equipment products through qualified distributors. Involves recognition of market areas and selection of qualified distributors capable of promoting and perpetuating asphalt mobile and concrete equipment product sales.  Identify and resolve distributor territory and product overlaps/conflicts necessary to enhance sales. Understand and negotiate Terex Roadbuilding Distributor contracts with qualified distributors including market share and performance criteria. Train and manage the distributor network for optimum performance providing financial opportunity distributing Terex Roadbuilding products. Determines the organizationa's asphalt mobile and concrete equipment sales program through policies, objectives and initiatives.  Ensures sales staff maintains a thorough commercial as well as technical knowledge of  Roadbuilding products to include, applicability, possible modifications to meet distributor/customer needs in solving their equipment problems, finance resources. Responsible for development of the asphalt mobile and concrete equipment product sales plan . Travel with staff in sales regions Develops and maintains forecasting model for all asphalt mobile and concrete equipment. Develops support sales functions for distributor development and training. EDUCATION:  College/university course work completion or equivalent experience commensurate with the areas of responsibility managed. Supplementary professional testament or master's level academic preparation.   EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND KNOWLEDGE:  Minimum 8 10 years experience in a key managerial role commensurate and related to areas of accountability, heavy equipment manufacturing environment preferred.  Demonstrated ability to establish and accomplish goals and priorities; recognize, develop, and utilize resources; and achieve outcomes that consistently exceed customers' expectations.     If interested, please apply online at http://track.jobviper.com/ViewJob.asp?id=503724-3-373
