Sales Engineer/Building Envelope Representative Atlanta, GA   Tremco Incorporated has been a world leader in solving complex waterproofing and roofing problems for commercial, institutional and industrial accounts since 1928.  Tremco is a subsidiary of RPM International Inc., a $1.7 billion holding company, that owns subsidiaries that are world leaders in specialty coatings serving both industrial and consumer markets.   Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge: Perform visual inspections of existing conditions, current installations, to determine building envelope conditions failures, recommendations.  Documentation is the primary goal while on site Daily duties based on the project requirements include climbing ladders, stairs or scaffolding as provided Perform assessment, design and construction reviews for a wide range of building envelope assemblies on projects ranging from assessment and rehabilitation of existing building designs to the envelope system Review building envelope assemblies for water penetration, vapor diffusion, air leakage and thermal performance on paper (i.e. shop drawings) and in the field Observation of building cladding; Vinyl siding, stucco, EIFS, masonry Observation of window applications - installation and inspections Observation of roofing components - before, during and after roofing applications Produce field notes on site, and in the office Photograph all conditions observed during above mentioned inspections  Draft Scopes of Work. Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements: · 3-5 years of experience in the building envelope field· A degree in Construction Management or related with 3-5 years experience   Structural Engineering degree a plus Solid communication skills with building owners, facility engineers, property managers and contractors Working knowledge of building material and products  Working knowledge of waterproofing; exterior cladding; building envelope components is a plus  Overall, with travel, 50% field time, and 50% office time  Performing assessment, design and construction reviews for a wide range of building envelope assemblies on projects ranging from assessment and rehabilitation of existing building designs to the envelope system Interface with owners, design professionals, general contractors and sub-trades.
