Sales Engineer - Detroit Metro Area
J.R. Automation Technologies, LLC, a leader in the design and manufacture of assembly automation systems, has an immediate opening for a Sales Engineer in the Detroit, MI area.
The ideal candidate will reside in the Detroit area and will have previous experience in the special machinery or capital equipment business. A strong mechanical orientation is very important with a technical degree being a significant advantage. Strong business skills, identification of opportunities, and flexibility are important attributes. A background in manufacturing engineering along with training in lean manufacturing techniques would be beneficial.
Responsibilities will include new account development as well as proposal development and servicing the needs of our current customer base.
