Sales Engineer - Motion Control -Industrial Automation

 ** If you have an established background selling Motion Control products – We need to talk to you ***If you live in the Orlando / Tampa areas, this is an outstanding opportunity with an International Manufacturer. Our client is a multi-billion manufacturer of automation products. They are looking for a sales person to work out of their home / remote office location promoting and selling their line of Industrial Automation products. Duties will include calling on distribution while calling on key / target accounts and prospecting new, qualified companies to obtain new business. Generate lists of prospective customers based on information obtained from business directories, trade publications, and trade shows.Successful candidate must represent the company in a professional, ethical, socially responsible manner while demonstrating a high degree of technical knowledge to OEM and end user customers. Internal and external relationship building skills and practices are a must to obtain the established monthly and annual sales goals. Will have the responsibility for the review of customer specification documents to give price quotes and estimated delivery times based on company production and delivery schedules.  Education and skills requirements are: 4 year technical degree, BSEE or BSME – or 2 year technical school degree with equivalent military or technical experience. 5-10 years of technical application and / or field sales experience. Product application / knowledge experience with PLC, CNC, VFD, OIT, Servo/Motion products. Ability to sell directly and work with a distribution channel. Efficiency with MS Office products. Solid presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
