Voith Siemens Hydro’s York operations are home to one of the world’s largest dedicated hydro turbine equipment manufacturing facilities in the world. More than a third of the world’s electricity generated with hydropower is produced with turbines and generators made by Voith Siemens Hydro, and our products can be found in such applications as  the Hoover Dam, Niagara Falls, Holtwood, and Conowingo.  With over a 120 year history in the York Area, Voith Siemens is the most financially sound hydro turbine equipment producer, and offers a great and stable working environment for which to have a long and fulfilling career.  Voith Siemens is currently searching for a dedicated, enthusiastic and self motivated candidate to fill the Sales Estimator position:

 Prepares detail estimates for the complete Voith Siemens product line of new and rehabilitation equipment using sound judgment and company practices. Provides final estimates on the basis of customer specification utilizing detail estimates, previous cost records, and/or hourly estimates provided by process planners. Prepare the Standard for Contract upon receiving a contract, based on the estimate as defined in the final pricing to the customer Maintain records of actual historical costs to be used by estimating department. Provide comparisons of quotations received from material suppliers, subcontractors, and other Voith Siemens companies and departments. Prepares Price Development Forms to closely match the customer's pricing schedules and based on Voith Siemens standard pricing policies.
