Sales Manager - Central Region

Position Summary Manage sales objectives for Fabrication & Distribution central region which includes Missouri, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Ohio, Oklahoma, Minnesota and Mississippi. Position Responsibilities Support RTI’s strategic goals to become the industry’s supplier of choice and maintain that position in the market. Oversee national or major accounts and develop new prospects. Assist in the design of national sales and marketing programs to result in increased profit. Collect information from customers and other sources to forecast future needs and inventory requirements as well as identify service opportunities. Build positive relationships with existing customers to increase sales of products and/or services. Frequent travel to customer locations within the region identified in position summary. Assist in the resolution of customer issues. Assist in the development of material specs for customer applications. Work closely with Research & Technical Development personnel to identify applications for RTI products. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline. Minimum of 4 years sales experience in metals manufacturing. Knowledge of primary metals manufacturing processes and limitations. Experience in the development of sales forecasts. Candidates must reside in/or near one of the cities identified above as company location. Experience in the titanium industry and/or selling to aerospace/aircraft manufacturers a plus.
