Join a growing, industry leader and contribute outstanding track record in sales management and sales to raise the bar on your career while bringing significant strategic value to your sales team.  Narrow web printing and identification technology company seeks dynamic, progressive and entrepreneurial thinker with proven performance excellence to lead a team of five to six sales representatives and report directly to the V.P. of Sales & Marketing for our expanding international firm.  Primary focus will be North American client development and support in an interactive, visionary strategic management role.

Promote the profitable sales of the company's products and services through directing and managing accounts, interfacing and leveraging with customers, working with customer service, manufacturing, estimating, marketing, and the Executive Team to integrate and develop production pipeline.

Continuously develop and maintain a full and effective sales funnel through proactive management, including goal setting and monitoring monthly sales activity.  Leverage business partners to drive sales in end user accounts.  Engage in training and self-education in order to effectively perform in the consultative sales process.  Use CRM to track account and prospect data and sales activity information.  Report on a regular basis to the Executive Team and monitor metrics toward ongoing success of company and sales initiatives.  Needs assessment, definition of product requirements, product evaluations, quote submission, pricing negotiations, contract development, and attentive and active supervision of the sales team are key responsibilities.  Assure maximum account effectiveness and prioritize customer retention and maturation through ongoing account management activities and training of sales team to do the same.

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred, and five to seven years' sales management and sales in a technical/industrial field; six sigma, lean manufacturing, production environment with strong network of industry contacts would be excellent experience to bring to the role.  Highly self-motivated.  Stellar communication, presentation, and negotiation skills needed.  ability to develop, manage, and maintain an accurate sales forecast.  Quick learner with strong technical aptitude; ability to manage sales of all company products/services to all buying influences in an organization with proficiency to differentiate, define value proposition and close effectively and within identified windows of time. 

Computer skills, including CRM, Internet, MS Word and Excel, and PowerPoint.  Ability to accommodate up to 40% travel during the year.
