Sales Manager - PV Installations

EPV Solar, a thin-film solar module manufacturer headquartered in Hamilton, NJ, is rapidly expanding. EPV manufactures and offers high performance solar modules for freestanding, rooftop and integrated building applications in both commercial and residential sectors. We have been in business since 1991 and have established a burgeoning global presence. Due to explosive growth, the company has the following exciting new opportunity available:

Sales Manager-PV Installations

This position will be the primary sales contact for turn-key PV installations in North America. The Sales Manager’s primary responsibilities are to identify real opportunities in targeted markets, educate prospective customers on the advantages of solar energy,  and to close sales for EPV PV installations. This person will have a project focus on a quarterly basis to insure that revenue targets are met.  The Sales Manager will work closely with the General Manager of the PV Installation business unit and the engineering group to ensure a best in class customer experience.

 

Responsibilities will include:

-  Define, develop, maintain and expand sales strategy

-  Identify and secure sales opportunities for PV installations in targeted areas

-  Work with existing leads/accounts, while generating new leads

-  Develop new business, markets and opportunities

-  Provide forecasts to meet and exceed revenue and corporate objectives

-  Establish a database of customers and prospects

-  Attend and support trade shows and conferences

-  Gather, analyze and report market parameters

-  Respond to customer inquiries regarding products

Requirements
Qualifications and experience:

-  Proven experience achieving goals and sales track record

-  Minimum 3 years Experience in technical sales

-  Knowledgeable of PV systems and power generation (or other renewable energy) is an asset (willing to participate at roof top installations as part of hands-on training)

-  Existing relationships in the PV industry is an asset

-  Knowledge of local, state and federal incentive programs in assigned territory

-  Strategic selling experience and strong technical sales ability

-  Excellent communication skills

-  Ability to work independently while still a strong team player
