Sales Rep - Central PA Territory

Summary:

This position includes sales of gray, white, and color cements to a diverse group of customers in Central Pennsylvania. Additionally, the successful candidate will develop and maintain an understanding of the market related to the package and bulk cement markets and allied industries such as admixtures and aggregates.  The candidate must also be willing to assume a leadership role in local and national promotional groups related to the cement industry.

 

Responsibilities:

§ Effectively manage a sales territory with overnight travel

§ Manage existing active accounts including assisting with credit issues

§ Increase sales by obtaining new customers and by growing existing accounts

§ Provide technical assistance to all customers

§ Conduct all promotional activities within territory

§ Analyze and optimize distribution and logistic issues

§ Participate in annual forecasts, budgets and planning strategies 

 

Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s DegreeFour or more years of sales experience preferred Knowledge of the construction industry.Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.High energy level - able to work with minimal direct supervision while being results oriented.Strategic thinker - able to help create, implement, and measure marketing and sales strategies.Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people.Proficient in prospecting for sales and comfortable with cold calls.Commitment to Total Quality.
