Sales Representative - Chicago
Position: Regional Sales – Account Management Company: Leading converter and distributor of thin gauge plastic films. Multiple Plant Locations within the US. Location: Chicago – MidwestTerritory: No. IL, WI, MN, ND, SD, IA Summary: This is a sales position with a company that is geared toward rewarding and supporting their sales people in an established territory. The opportunity is to manage existing accounts and develop new business in a rapidly growing territory that is producing over $10MM in sales. Note: The compensation is not capped with this company.Job Responsibilities: Develop and strengthen customer accounts in multiple markets including, labels and graphic arts, flexible packaging, flexible duct, envelope / folding carton window film, etc. calling on bothconverters and end users. Achieve and maintain specific sales goals to include volumes and revenues within the assigned market area. Identify and secure new business consistent with business strategy Work aggressively to identify and promote new business and product opportunities. Provide information and conduct presentations on customers and market activities to Sales and Marketing management. Work closely to build relationships in-depth with customers. Requirements: Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to aggressively promote products. MUST HAVE MINIMUM of 3 years experience in selling products such as; plastic film, flexible packaging, labels, paper, foil or other converted products. Knowledge of PET, BOPP, products is a plus. MUST be able to work independently from a home office. MUST have a track record of successfully increasing sales and opening new accounts by working with purchasing as well as others in an organizations, i.e., product development, etc. Ability to work with a variety of functional groups at all levels of the organization. Excellent communication skills to include interpersonal, presentation, and written.
