Sales Service Representative

Corrugated Services Inc. is the largest independent producer of recycled containerboard in the United States, with $200 million in revenues and over 300 employees.  The business is divided into several divisions, all of which revolve around its core business, which is the manufacture of linerboard, medium and coated papers used to make corrugated boxes.  The business currently produces about 900 tons per day of linerboard and medium which is sold primarily to independent box manufacturers.  The company started in 1974 and has a long-track record of success and sustained growth throughout its history.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties involve order entry and processing, to include order tracking and transmission of shipping documentation and other significant information to internal and external customers.  Other significant tasks are: tracking trades involving CSI and various second and third parties, processing export orders and the necessary invoices, contacting suppliers on behalf of customers and CSI sales representatives, making freight arrangements as necessary, managing and reconciling inventories, and effectively communicating with customers, suppliers, and other CSI offices.  This job requires independent decision making and the ability to function effectively without daily direct supervision.  Occasional travel to meet with customers may be needed.

 

  Experience and Qualifications

  Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and 2-5 years in a sales service and/or customer service role. Inside sales experience preferred.  Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. 

 

  Education

Some college coursework completed and High School Diploma or GED required
