Position Summary:
The Sales Team Manager for a major food retailer can reside in San Antonio, TX or Austin, TX. Position will report to a Director of Sales for the West Region of The Clorox Company.
The Team Manager is “One Voice” at a major food retail customer for Clorox. Works with Broker partner to penetrate retail customer to understand their go to market strategies/tactics and link them with Clorox strategies/tactics via integrated business planning process. Provides leadership and alignment to this business planning process (i.e. the development and execution of effective, efficient and profitable business plans). Leverages Clorox scale to deliver results.


Responsibilities:
Business Results-responsible for overall business results (Volume, NCS, MAPS), Corporate Policy implementation and MF deployment/capability/effectiveness.
Customer Business Planning-drives an integrated Business Plan that leverages appropriate systems and tools. Proactively manages trade funds within guidelines/budgets. Has linkage to IBPP as appropriate.
Organizational Capability and Capacity-develops Team capabilities on key processes, tools and knowledge. Develops strong collaborative relationships with Broker Management and Multi-functional resources. Focuses and aligns key resources on business priorities. Proactive in identifying and reapplying best practices.
Customer Ownership and Development- develops relationships with Sr. Customer management to drive strategic plans/results. Partners with Broker to build and manage these relationships. Builds integrated business planning process with Customer. Leverages CDM to bring Category focus and expertise with Customer (as appropriate).
People Development-manages, coaches and develops Team members as appropriate. Trains, educates and develops Broker partners (Business Managers, SSC, other support).

Required Qualifications:
Typically requires 6-8+ years of Consumer Products experience
Large Key Account Management experience
BS/BA degree


Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience managing food retailer relationship
Broker Sales Management experience desired
Internal Sales experience helpful
Knowledge of Clorox categories
