Sales and Marketing, Proposal Manager

Agusta Aerospace Corporation (AAC), a division of Agusta Westland, the worlds leading international aerospace and helicopter manufacturer is searching for a Proposal Manager, Sales & Marketing. We are strategically located next to the Northeast Philadelphia airport in northeast section of Philadelphia and immediately outside of lower Bucks County, PA.

 

On Tuesday, February 19, 2008 we celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by dignitaries, parent company executives and employees to commemorate the opening of our state of art AW139 manufacturing facility. In addition to the AW139 assembly, AAC is also responsible for A119 Ke production and supporting the expanding fleet of AgustaWestland helicopters in North and South America. This plant is also provides flight and ground course training activities.

 

AAC has doubled their workforce in the last two years and we are still growing to approximately 500 people. Summary of Position:

 

Reporting to the Sr. Contracts Manager performs the following duties and responsibilities: Manage and coordinate all proposals and purchase agreements for the Regional Sales Managers Respond to commercial RFP's with customized proposals as requiredManage and coordinate Microsoft PowerPoint presentations for sales promotions Develop and maintain pricing database for all AW products and the competition; maintain coordination with the operations avionics staff, engineering and purchasing agents for pricing vendor products Assist the finance department to establish the actual aircraft building completion cost and provide detail for aircraft offersManage the activities of the Sales Engineering Assistant

 

A. Education: BS in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent

 

B. Experience:  2 to 5 years in sales/marketing, business development, pricing and/or finance

 

C. Competencies & AttributesKnowledge of contractual terms and conditionsStrong written and oral communication skillsWell organized and adaptable with a flexible approachAble to work in a dynamic growing environment  Able to work under pressure and meet customer deadlines Strong computer skillsHave intercultural awareness, ability to create and maintain relationsA knowledge of Italian or Spanish is a plus
