Section Manager - Application Engineering

1. Manage PSC’s Application Engineering group to ensuring accurate, profitable and timely quotes in line with key performance indicators (KPI’s) designed to develop high levels of customer and field sales satisfaction.2. Oversee and ensure well-managed product launches which meet KPI’s for on-time delivery, specification quality, and financial targets for the items launched within the application engineering group.3. Continuously improve and maintain PSC’s quoting process (CQS) to ensure an efficient and systematic procedure is used throughout the business, which meets business wide objectives.4. Track and report on monthly quote KPI’s to the PSC management team.5. Coordinate and lead monthly Portfolio Review meetings with a cross functional management team ensuring communication of quotes, launches and current growth projects across the business.6. Participate in cross functional teams throughout the business, such as Market Growth Teams, Profitability Teams, and the Steel Business Associate Council to promote strong representation of our entire organizational capabilities.7. Lead cross functional ASB/PSC growth initiatives within the business, using the NBD Stage Gate process8. Provide consultative leadership and support to direct reports as well as other ASB/PSC associates regarding customer interactions as well as PSC products, processes and systems.Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical or Industrial Engineering with 5-10 years experience.
