Selling Office Manager - Gatlinburg, TN

Southland Log Homes, the nation's #1 manufacturer and provider of log home packages is currently seeking a Selling Office Manager for our new Gatlinburg, TN Home Store.



This position will be responsible for the following:



OFFICE MANAGEMENT:



· Input and follow up on all sales model traffic.  Walk in customers, incoming calls, internet leads, etc.

· Data entry of leads. Monitoring database to prevent duplication of information. 

· Responsible for lead reassignment within the sales office and database research for the sales team.

· Greet customers.  Coordinate incoming phone calls, review emails, monitor sales schedules. 

· Maintain locked Planning Guide inventory and forward month end totals to Corporate.

· Order office supplies and maintain a petty cash system.

· Will be the contact person for facility maintenance including cleaning and landscaping services.

· Maintain a Realtor Referral system, utilizing forms to register the agents/brokers.



SALES SUPPORT:



· Make follow up "Thank You" calls to all prospects utilizing a script as a reference tool. 

· Obtain quarterly  "old" prospect information by running database queries.  Calls are made on a daily basis.

· Monthly conference calls to initiate and motivate continued progress and updates on customer contact.

· Maintain pre-screened builders and reference lists on all local builders and vendors.  Update monthly.

· Provide customers with Southland Welcome Brochure in exchange for contact information.

GRASS ROOTS MARKETING: 

· Coordinate internal and external events during the year.

· Weekly visits to community and neighborhood businesses.

· Monthly visits to the County Court House to obtain new landowner information.

· Coordinate office participation in local charity events and twice a year offer sales model as a location for local organization meetings.

· Create and maintain local media contact database, including newspapers, TV and radio stations, local military base media, magazines, newsletters and city/county/ websites.

· Monthly distribution and follow up of a press release to the media.

· Quarterly provide log home magazines information on both internal and external local events.

With this being a new sales location, this position will begin as an administrative role.  However, as the sales office grows, this position will become responsible for actively selling. 



Sales Consultants are primarily responsible for promoting and cultivating the sale of log home packages to our customer market.  Consultants work with clients, processing sale agreements and closing log home sales with the final goal of creating a satisfied customer.



The successful candidate must have a proven track record of relationship selling and a complete understanding of sales methods and processes.They must be coachable, team players, and problem solvers. 



Responsibilities include:

Attending our in house training program to fully prepare for a sales position with Southland Log Homes Aggressively following up on leads generated by walk in traffic, information request cards, web traffic and call-ins Capturing the customer vision by relationship selling Converting the customer vision into a preliminary design Participating with other departments to create and maintain client relationships Presenting options and resolutions in an organized and concise manner Closing the log home sale

Southland provides complete training over a two-month time frame, with formal and informal training segments. Each new consultant is provided a network of corporate support and mentoring during this time.
