We have the following opening in our Roseville, CA Manufacturing Facility. We invite you to be part of our team! The incumbent is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of equipment used in the production of integrated circuits.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Efficiently operate equipment in assigned functional area as well as test/measurement equipment in support of primary equipment responsibilities. Actively support meeting overall and area production goals. Demonstrate ownership of responsibilities. Seek additional learning opportunities and assist others for all qualified tasks. Adhere to all written specifications. 100% compliance for all qualified tasks. Will not perform unqualified/non-certified tasks without direct training or supervision. Work effectively within a team environment. Communicate effectively with coworkers and support groups. Interactive communication with trainer, lead operators, and supervisor. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Adhere to the protocols of working in a cleanroom environment, such as gowning, wafer handling, and other cleanroom standards. Adhere to all Company policies, including Attendance and Break Standards policies. Disposition discrepant material as trained and assigned. Perform work requests from Engineering staff as trained and as assigned. Perform equipment maintenance tasks as trained and assigned. Perform chemical support tasks as trained and assigned. Perform other equipment support tasks as trained and assigned. Candidate will be assigned to one of four production shifts (which may include night shift) in support of a 24-hour manufacturing facility, working an alternating 4-day/3-day week, 12-hour shift schedule (compressed work week).QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential function. Ability to legibly fill out production documents, such as run cards and control charts. Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating specifications and engineering change orders. Physical abilities: Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Extensive walking is also common. Ability to repetitively lift and carry with both hands approximately 10 pounds of weight and to exert 10 pounds of force by pushing. Occasional may be required to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds. Ability to use hands to grasp and handle repetitively. Ability to reach, stoop, and crouch.Ability to work in a cleanroom environment wearing cleanroom garments at all times ('bunny suit', safety glasses, hair nets, and gloves).Shift Schedule:A Shift (0% shift differential)Monday - Wednesday and every other Sunday6:00 AM to 6:00 PMB Shift (5% shift differential)Thursday - Saturday and every other Sunday6:00 AM to 6:00 PMC Shift (15% shift differential)Sunday - Tuesday and every other Saturday6:00 PM to 6:00 AMD Shift (15% shift differential)Wednesday - Friday and every other Saturday6:00 PM to 6:00 AMCompensationBase rate: $9.05 to $10.75 (DOE)Built-in Overtime: Each 12 hour shift includes built-in daily overtime for a total of 46.375 hours per week (compressed work week overtime, will be paid for work performed in excess of forty (40) hours in any work week as well as hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one work day). Shift Differential: In addition to the built-in overtime you could also receive a shift differential up to 15% depending on the shift. Variable Pay Award: This position is also eligible to receive a potential Variable Pay Award up to $7,200.00 per fiscal year. This award is based on the achievement of Plant profit and production goals (Please note: pay out is only awarded if all goals are achieved.) Education - High School Diploma or GED. A.S. degree preferred.Prior production work experience preferred.
