Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

Scope:

Perform all accounts receivable functions

 

Duties:Analyzes past due amounts over 60 days and determines the most effective way of collectionPerforms account reconciliation to ensure that outstanding balances are correctMaintains collections databaseGenerates monthly aging reports for the collections groupsSupervise reporting activity for past due accountsWork closely with Credit and Collections Manager

 

Essential Knowledge and Skills:Proficiency in Word and ExcelMust posses good interpersonal skillsAble to perform assigned duties under minimal supervisionMust posses strong research and follow up skills

 

Education and Experience:

· College graduate or 5 years or more of experience in AR Collections

· Must be able to multitask and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers to facilitate the timely resolution of unpaid receivables
